One of many species of Eucalyptus. Grows in dryer regions of Southern Australia. Larger stems have a grey-brown streaked fibrous bark. "Mallee" refers to a species' general growth form (habit). Usually smaller and shorter than trees, not more than 10 meters. Multiple stems from a single root system, create burl growths.
